Paul Josephs Wins Defense Verdict in Queens County

On July 12, 2019, Paul Josephs won a defense verdict in Guevara v. Mondesir, Index No. TS-300541-15 (Civil Court, Queens County). The two plaintiffs claimed injuries to various body parts and both plaintiffs underwent surgery as a result of a rear end automobile collision caused by our client. Following a two day trial, the jury returned a defense verdict finding that neither plaintiff sustained a “serious injury” within the meaning of Insurance Law 5102(d).
