The firm is excited to announce that William C. Lawlor is now a partner at Hannum Feretic Prendergast & Merlino, LLC. We are very proud of and grateful for Bill’s years of dedication, hard work, and loyalty to the firm.
Since joining HFPM in January of 2016, Bill has continued to litigate zealously on behalf of his clients. Outside of the office and the courtroom, Bill enjoys golfing and traveling. At the firm, he focuses primarily on representation of developers, municipalities, construction managers, and general contractors throughout the five boroughs in complex cases rooted in New York’s Labor Law. He also has an experienced and diverse appellate practice, and has successfully argued multiple cases before the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court. Decisions include: Bruno v. The Port Authority of New York, 2016 N.Y. Slip Op. 30721, aff’d. 157 A.D.3d 444 (1st Dept. 2018) and Villongco v. Tompkins Square Bagels, 41 N.Y.S.3d 453, aff’d. 155 A.D.3d 589 (1st Dept. 2017).
We look forward to Bill continuing to build on his success and the high levels of trust he has earned with clients, the courts, and colleagues.
