Michael J. White graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in 1990. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the St. John’s University School of Law in 1993 where he was on the Dean’s List and graduated in the top 15% of his class. After graduation, he went to work as a trial attorney for the CNA Insurance Companies/Continental Casualty Company. During that time, he handled cases involving the Labor Law, construction accidents, products liability, automobile liability, commercial motor vehicles, and premises liability from inception through trial. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. White worked as a Senior Trial Attorney for the last six years for the Law Offices of Margaret G. Klein & Associates. As a Senior Trial Attorney, he handled significant exposure cases involving the Labor Law, construction accidents, products liability, elevator accidents, fires, floods, and wrongful death. In connection with that work, he successfully prosecuted numerous declaratory judgment actions against insurers and co-defendants who refused to acknowledge their obligations to defend and indemnify his clients. He has a vast knowledge of issues involving contractual indemnification, insurance procurement, anti-subrogation and insurance coverage. In his career, Mr. White has taken over thirty-five cases to verdict. He is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York and New Jersey as well as all of the Federal Courts in both of those states.
