David is a 1994 graduate of Tulane Law School. Mr. Knel received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991.
Mr. Knel is an experienced litigator. Before joining Hannum Feretic Prendergast & Merlino, LLC, he represented Insurance companies in subrogation claims involving property, basic PIP, and APIP throughout the five boroughs and Long Island. In addition, he represented taxi cabs in property damage claims and bodily injury claims in Brooklyn and Queens. Mr. Knel also represented homeowners and renters in premises and general liability cases.
