Jessica M. Erickson is a 2010 graduate of New York Law School. In 2007, she graduated Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology Justice Studies and Psychology. During law school, Ms. Erickson held a judicial externship with the Honorable Magistrate Judge Michael Shipp, District of New Jersey and was an avid participant with the Courtroom Advocates Project, assisting domestic violence victims obtain Orders of Protection in the New York Family Court. Ms. Erickson joined the firm in 2013 and focuses her legal practice on general liability defense, with particular emphasis in the areas of automobile accidents, premises liability, construction liability and labor law matters. Ms. Erickson routinely represents property owners, commercial tenants, construction management firms and general contractors, handling all aspects of a claim from inception through trial, including all depositions and motion practice. She offers a unique perspective to the handling of negligence claims, having previously practiced as a plaintiff’s attorney in the areas of complex personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death matters. Ms. Erickson is admitted to practice law in the New York State and New Jersey Courts, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
