Mr. Boone focuses his practice on the defense of labor law, professional malpractice, property damage, commercial and general negligence defense claims. Mr. Boone represents both individuals and corporate clients at trial, having taken multiple favorable jury verdicts. Mr. Boone has obtained positive results briefing and conducting oral argument before the New York State appellate courts, including the often-cited matter of Tejeda v. Six Ten Management Corp. 15 A.D.3d 265, 790 N.Y.S.2d 21, (1st Dep’t, 2005). In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Boone has extensive experience in analyzing and resolving high-exposure personal injury matters through alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediations and arbitrations.
Mr. Boone brings a well-rounded and cost-effective approach to litigation to each of his cases, having litigated matters as staff trial counsel for a major national liability insurance carrier and for several prominent New York City-based private insurance defense firms. Mr. Boone obtained both his undergraduate degree from Hunter College in 1996 and his law degree from New York Law School in 2001 as an evening student. Prior to commencing his trial practice, Mr. Boone served as local counsel for a Florida-based luxury hotel and property management company.
In his spare time, Mr. Boone is an avid runner and regularly competes in regional half-marathons. Mr. Boone recently completed his first full marathon in Philadelphia in 2016.
